Using your wiimote on your PC
As most of us know, the Wiimote connects to the system through bluetooth wireless. This means that in theory, you could connect your wii remote to your PC through any type of bluetooth adapter. This theory has become a reality. I've compiled several links on how to do this as well as a guide and code for running your wiimote. So here are some links:
GlovePIE download
The program you need to run your wii remote on your pc can be downloaded here. It's called GlovePie, and it does not even need to be installed to use (Cool!)
Alternate Program
Site for another wiimote driver. This one is a lot simpler, and you don't get to chose what each button does, but I found it good for testing my wiimote connection quickly. Again, it does not need to be installed.
Wiili
A wiki that has a lot of info on wii and wii hacks. It's down a lot so don't always expect to be able to get on to it, but it is useful when available.
LiquidIce's Wii hacks
A guy named LiquidIce has created a nice guide on setting up your Wiimote. This site also has a bunch of other easy Wii hacks.
So check out those sites for info on setting up your Wiimote. I'll have my own guide up sometime soon as well. Also, expect code for GlovePie to come soon.
